Dare to Dada is a collection inspired by the Dada Art movement created as a reaction to the violence and the absurdity of World War I. After the explosion that took place in Beirut in August 4, 2020, Nour decided to transform the violent scenes and attrocities into a world full of colors and innocence. The collection holds a lot of elements that refer to the dadaist's approach such as deconstruction, usage of odd materials and other rebellious actions to express the nonsense in life. A lot of hand embroidery is incorporated in this collection along with other embelishment techniques. Emmy Hennings, was the muse of our colllection, co-founder of Dada Art movement, poet, performer and puppet maker.
